I am writing this from work in the midst of Day Out With Thomas...covering the phones, which for once aren't ringing off the hook.
Since I'm working such long hours this weekend and Randi's at her parents, I've been bringing Alex up to Spencer with me and leaving him at Bob's house during the day so he's not home alone for 14 hours. When I first got Alex, Bob picked on me, said dogs are too much work, etc. When I brought him up Friday, it was the first time he got to meet him.
Well, I think Alex has converted him. Yesterday, Bob said I wasn't getting Alex back because his roommate Reg, who was taking Alex out during the day, was going to keep him. Last night, I went out to eat with a couple of girls from work after we got off, and left Alex with Bob, who was having a card game with some friends. Today, Bob tells me, "We're keeping your puppy." I said, "After you made fun of me when I got him?" "Well, that was before I knew how cute and adorable he was."
Yep, I have the best puppy ever. :)
